Abide Hawaii
Out founder, Jenny Wang, started Abide Hawaii from her home office, launching a company that now serves Hawai'i exclusively from its Honolulu base. Abide began in 2020 during a severe toilet paper shortage, which hit Hawai'i especially hard. Jenny committed to supplying the state consistently, pivoting to bamboo fiber, a sustainable option that uses fewer chemicals and is free of PFAS. Abide became Hawai'i's first and only local brand offering bamboo bath tissue, napkins, and paper towels, a unique alternative that also met critical local needs.

Hawaiʻi Celebrates 7-Eleven Day
This past July 11 7-Eleven Hawai‘i celebrated 48 years of serving communities across the Hawaiian Islands. As part of the anniversary celebration, all 67 stores will offered a free small SLURPEE® on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
In addition to exclusive deals throughout the day, customers who made any purchase received a limited-edition tote bag featuring a design by local artist, Jack Soren. As a tasty bonus, they served up the Original SPAM® Musubi starting at $1.59 on O’ahu and $2.19 on Neighbor Islands, available all day long.
To kick off the celebration, 7-Eleven Hawaiʻi brought back Dollar Deals that will ran from July 1 through July 10, featuring a variety of popular items at all 7-Eleven Hawai‘i locations.
